Now that you have set up your Google Plus professional page, start optimizing to attract attention from future employers.
The concept of attracting potential employers is a major shift in thinking from traditional job search route....an approach that more innovative companies embrace.
Some pointers:
- Positioning - what do you want to be know as vs. what are you doing now
- Content - post and share articles + information that supports your desired positioning in No. 1
- Populate - follow people and join circles that will add your expertise and support the desired positioning in No.1
- Potential Employers - be sure to follow companies/hotels that interest you as future employers. Whose posts do they share? It is a good indicator of that company's areas of interests.
- Use you best blog posts, from this course, as G Plus posts - show off your knowledge and platforms capabilities
